Let’s start!
DIY Halloween Pool Noodle Candles
There are many ways you can make a Halloween centerpiece. The easiest one is the pool noodle candles centerpiece. The best part is, you can make this DIY centerpiece with Dollar Store items. The supplies you need:
- Pool noodles (prefer black)
- LED Tea lights
- Hot glue gun
- Plate
- Accessories – moss, tiny spiders, eyeballs, skull, or black flowers
Directions:
First you need to figure out the size of your candles, start with the biggest one, decide how long do you want. All the other candles follow, the bigger one will be slightly smaller than the previous one.
When you put together all the candles, from bigger to smaller, it looks good.
If you simply put the tea lights on top of a pool noodle, you’ll see the hole of the pool noodle is a bit smaller to fit the tea light.
So, you’ve to widen the hole by cutting the foam edges from inside using a pair of scissors or a utility knife. And check if it fits in well or not.
Next step is to attach all the pool noodles side by side in a rounding pattern and hot glue them. Place them on a round plate and hot glue them.
Now, we have to make the dripping wax to look like the candle is melting. For that, make a thick layer of hot glue dripping down with the help of hot glue.
If you have the pool noodles of any other color, spray paint it black.
Then comes the fun part of decorating the candles. Let your creative juice flow, try to add some texture with some moss, mini spiders, skull, eyeballs, flowers or any accessories you have.
